Southeast Thanksgiving Feast

Friday, November 16th was the Thanksgiving feast at Southeast School. For the main course we had turkey. We also were served some yummy gingerbread with whipped cream or gingerbread with no whipped cream. We also had mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, and cranberry sauce. The whole school was there and the second graders sang us some songs. We all had a great time!

Worry Dolls

Worry Dolls are small yarn figures that make your worries go away. You tell your worry doll your worry and put it under your pillow at night while you sleep, and the next day your worries will be gone. Worry dolls are from Guatemala, a Spanish country. In Spanish class, we are making are own worry dolls out of clothespins, pipe cleaners, string, and markers. We have really liked learning about worry dolls!
